2 BLOCK LAYERS REQUIRED – CAHERDAVIN, LIMERICK

Sherlock Recruitment is currently looking for 2 experienced Block Layers for a project in Caherdavin, Limerick.

Job Details:

  • Positions: 2 Block Layers
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Hours: 8:00am–6:00pm
  • Location: Caherdavin, Limerick
  • Parking: Available on site
  • Induction: On site

Requirements:

  • Previous block-laying experience
  • Experience laying 6-inch concrete blocks
  • Experience building walls, pillars and piers
  • Experience fitting pillar caps and coping stones
  • Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates

Duties Include:

  • Laying 6-inch blocks for boundary and garden walls
  • Building blockwork pillars and piers
  • Installing pillar caps and coping stones
  • Setting out and checking levels, alignment and measurements
  • Mixing mortar, cutting blocks and finishing joints
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working area
