2ND FIX CARPENTER REQUIRED – DUBLIN

Sherlock Recruitment is currently looking for experienced 2nd Fix Carpenters for a long-term hospital project in Dublin.

Job Details:

  • Position: 2nd Fix Carpenter
  • Start Date: asap
  • Duration: 1 year
  • Location: Dublin 
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Parking: Available on site
  • Induction: Online and on-site

Requirements:

  • Previous 2nd Fix Carpentry experience
  • Safe Pass
  • Manual Handling
  • MEWP

Duties include:

  • Hanging and adjusting internal doors
  • Fitting door frames, architraves and skirting
  • Installing fire doors and ironmongery
  • Fitting door closers, handles, locks and hinges
  • Timber wall protection and corner guards
  • Handrails and timber grab rails
  • Shelving, cupboards and storage units
  • Kitchen units and worktops
  • Reception desks and counters
  • Timber trims and finishing mouldings
  • Access panels and window boards
  • Snagging, finishing and minor timber repairs
  • Working from drawings and specifications
