2 EXPERIENCED STEEL FIXERS REQUIRED – DAMASTOWN

Sherlock Recruitment is looking for 2 experienced Steel Fixers for a project at Damastown.

Job Details:

  • Positions: 2 Steel Fixers

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Location: Damastown

  • Parking: Available on site

Requirements:

  • Safe Pass

  • Manual Handling

  • Proven steel fixing experience

  • Ability to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules

  • Experience with reinforced concrete foundations, piers, walls, slabs and reinforcement mesh

Duties Include:

  • Measuring, positioning and tying reinforcement bars

  • Fixing reinforcement for foundations, piers, rising walls and concrete slabs

  • Installing reinforcement mesh, chairs, spacers and supports

  • Checking bar sizes, spacing, laps and concrete cover

  • Working from drawings and preparing reinforcement for inspection before concrete pours

  • Following site health and safety procedures
