Mechanical Fitter – Clonmel / Waterford

Sherlock Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Mechanical Fitters for exciting projects in the Clonmel and Waterford areas.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established mechanical contractor working on industrial and commercial projects with competitive rates and ongoing work available.

Responsibilities

• Installation, assembly, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Fitting pumps, motors, valves, pipework, and associated mechanical systems.
• Carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Working safely and efficiently as part of a mechanical team.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates (essential).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety.
• Own transport is an advantage.
