Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Electrical Mate to join our service team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills while working alongside experienced electricians on wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations.
The successful candidate will assist with the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of electrical and instrumentation equipment across a variety of industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist electricians with electrical and instrumentation servicing, maintenance, commissioning, and repair work.
- Support the installation of new plant equipment, including pumps, instruments, control panels, and associated electrical systems.
- Assist with wiring control panels, field devices, and site electrical installations.
- Help diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults under the guidance of qualified electricians.
- Carry out cable installation, containment, and general electrical works as required.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment in accordance with company health and safety procedures.
- Liaise professionally with customers and colleagues while on site.
- Complete basic service reports, record keeping, and other administrative tasks as required.
- Deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service.

Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working as an Electrical Mate or in a similar electrical support role is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of industrial electrical installations would be an advantage.
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Full clean driving licence.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
