Job Description

Electrician

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing electrical and instrumentation equipment across wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical and instrumentation servicing, commissioning, maintenance, and repairs on wastewater treatment plants and pump stations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults on control panels and a wide range of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
  • Install and commission new plant equipment, including pumps, instruments, control panels, components, and associated electrical systems.
  • Complete electrical wiring of control panels, field devices, and site installations.
  • Liaise daily with the Service Department and customers to communicate findings, provide technical recommendations, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Complete service reports, maintenance records, and other administrative documentation accurately and on time.
  • Deliver a professional, responsive, and customer-focused service at all times.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with relevant electrical standards and company procedures.

Essential Requirements

  • Fully qualified Electrician.
  • Industrial electrical experience, including work on three-phase power systems.
  • Experience with control wiring and 4–20 mA instrumentation signals would be a distinct advantage.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites as required.
