Job Description

Sherlock are excited to team up with a leading contractor in the Dublin area who is seeking a number of electricians to join their team. This is a full time, permanent contract with our client - with successful applicants working through Sherlock for the first 12 months before moving onto our clients payroll permanently. 

It would be beneficial if interested applicants have experience working on electrical installations of traffic lights, public lighting projects and motorway signage. However this is not essential as training will be provided. 

Successful applicants will be expected to carry out works outside of Dublin from time to time, with accommodation and travel expenses covered by our client. This work will be limited and the majority of works will be carried out in Dublin/ close surrounding counties. 

Interested applicants can expect:

  • SEO rates paid (€25-27.14 per hour)
  • Long term, secure work
  • Use of company vehicles for work purposes. 
  • Occasional travel around Ireland.
  • Additional training and up-skilling. 

Requirements for this role:

  • Right to work in Ireland
  • Safe pass, manual handling and full clean drivers license
  • QC number is desired, however it is not essential. 
  • Electrical Qualifications (QQI level 6, SOLAS craft card, City & Guilds, etc)
  • Experience working on similar projects.
