3 GENERAL OPERATIVES WITH MASTIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – DUBLIN

Sherlock Recruitment are currently looking for 3 General Operatives with previous Mastic/Silicone experience for a long-term commercial project in Dublin City Centre.

Job Details:

Requirements:

  • Previous Mastic/Silicone experience
  • Safe Pass
  • Manual Handling
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to achieve a clean and professional finish

Duties:

External Commercial Works

  • Applying mastic around external doors and frames
  • Sealing expansion and movement joints
  • Weatherproofing around windows and doors
  • Preparing and cleaning joints
  • Applying backing rod where required
  • Sealing joints between different building materials

Internal Works

  • Floor and movement joints
  • Sealing around internal door frames
  • Floor-to-wall junctions
  • Skirting and finishing gaps
  • Snagging and touching up existing mastic work

Kitchens & Bathrooms

  • Sealing kitchen worktops and splashbacks
  • Sealing around sinks, baths and shower trays
  • Sealing shower screens and bathroom fixtures
  • Sealing around toilets and sanitaryware
  • Removing old silicone and re-sealing where required
  • Neat finishing of corners and joints
