Banksman – Co. Limerick

Sherlock Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Banksman for an immediate start in Co. Limerick.

This is a long-term opportunity.

Working Hours

  • 40 hours per week - Starting ASAP
  • Possible additional overtime of approximately 2–3 hours per week, although this is not guaranteed

Requirements

Candidates must hold:

  • Valid Safe Pass
  • Manual Handling Certificate
  • Valid CSCS Banksman Card
  • Previous Banksman experience
  • Strong awareness of site safety and safe working practices

Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Directing and guiding digger operators, teleporter operators and crane drivers
  • Safely coordinating vehicle and plant movements on site
  • Directing personnel working around moving machinery
  • Preventing potential hazards involving pedestrians and plant machinery
  • Maintaining safe exclusion zones and clear communication with operators
  • Ensuring all site movements are carried out safely and efficiently
  • Following all site health and safety procedures
